I have been introduced to Adara and True Coconut some months back. I remember my own skepticism over the products – are they delivering over-promised results? Nonetheless, I decided to try it. There is no harm trying another organic product when I have tried so many other brands and none has resolved my problem.

For a person 35 years of age, I have extremely dry skin and hair. Sensibility told me to cut the hair away but vanity won and I ended up keeping my crown glory, looking out for all sorts of hair spas and treatment to upkeep it in manageable condition. My extremely dry skin require cleansing cream and shower oil, followed by layers of ultra-rich moisturizer before I step out of bathroom. That has been my routine for the past decades.

I first tried Adara as a hair treatment. With a couple of tablespoons of Adara rubbed into my hair, I had that on for a couple of hours before I shampooed it off. Upon the first trial, there was instantaneous improvement on my hair texture: it was significantly softer, more manageable. I continued to use it for a few more times and there was transformation. Today, I used Adara on weekly basis as a hair treatment, and daily on my hair (especially so on the ends) as a hair “moisturizer” after my hair wash.

As for my face and body, I have ceased using skin boosters. Instead, True coconut virgin oil becomes the booster and moisturizer. Although the initial application is oily, surprisingly, the oil is very quickly absorbed by the skin. Over these few months, my skin is noticeably softer to touch and there are less fine cracks. Having to travel fairly heavily for work, this “one-bottle-for-all” solution fits my traveling requirement ideally. I strongly urge the skeptics out there to give it a try and you will be astonished by the result it produces.

Can i just tell you that I LOVE this product! I’ve been using it on my face every night for about 1 week and my skin is so much clearer. My friends know that I’ve struggled with breakouts (mostly stress related) over the last year & nothing has helped. It’s amazing how quickly it worked.

Just wanted to share that with you.

This is really nice to have. I received a sample of this and I use it on my body and it melts into my skin. It leaves my skin so soft and smooth. Very moisturizing. I have it near my hands and it makes my hands really, soft and not so ruff and rubs in so well. The elbows and knees are a must have for this as this is where my skin is thirsty and it rocks. I spread it on and It soaks in fast and a little goes a long way. I have the rose scent and it is a light delicate scent.

I had a little bit left and tried it in my hair also, wow I need more, this is the best leave-in I could ask for. It doesn’t leave my hair greasy but it leaves my hair incredibly soft and moisturized and doesn’t weigh sown my hair. It works wonders for the frizzy’s. With this you get so much in one bottle. If I get more I plan to use it as a massage for my husband and myself. This makes everything soft and supple. Very nice product.

They sell other scents so if you are not a rose fan please check out the other scents. This is a got to have product for dry skin or hair.

Many thanks for introducing us to adara organic coconut oil.

We have been using the oil for close to three years now. It is indeed a very high quality product. Especially in comparison to the alternative brands available in the market like Vatika and Parachute.

We use the adara organic coconut oil primarily for hair nourishment purposes. My wife also applies it to my daughters’ skin to make it more supple and radiant. In both functions, the oil has proven itself a class apart from the alternative brands available in the market.

When applying to the scalp to nourish and condition the hair, the feel is very nice overall. It does not feel greasy or sticky as compared to the alternative brands. It actually feels very refreshing. Even an action as simple as combing the hair is so much easier and the hair feels so much smoother as the comb tends to glide along effortlessly. I have a feeling even the combs love adara!! The alternative brands tend to feel very greasy and the gliding action of the comb is not so effortless.

Another very important thing which we realised is that the odour (which is very strong in the alternate brands) is hardly present in adara. That makes it easier for us to put it on the hair and move out of our homes confidently as we do not have to put up with situations wherein people pass nasty comments or simply cover their noses in reaction to the strong odour which is present in the alternate brands. As you might be aware, Indians usually apply and leave the oil in their hair for extended periods like 24 hours in comparison to other races (presumably). We believe this practice actually aids in better conditioning the hair and keeping it healthy and youthful looking. Hence adara has helped us achieve this while at the same time give us the confidence to move about our daily lives confidently without having to avoid close contact with people due to the odour normally present in coconut oil.

Besides that, the various fragrances that the oil comes in is an added boon. My daughters especially love the rose smell and they have a gala time applying it on their skins as it makes them smell extra nice, you know how vain daughters can be!!! In fact we have had people asking us which perfume they put on, and when we tell them it is actually coconut oil, they look at us totally stunned!

My mother especially loves adara. She feels that the oil has actually reversed the hair thinning phenomenon that she felt she was experiencing, something i believe most people her age would naturally be experiencing due to the ageing process. Whether real or imagined, she has total faith in your product now. In fact there is time she wishes she had gotten these oil decades back!!!

All in all, you have come up with one hell of a good product. And being organic, there is no doubt about the purity and high standards of the product. Besides, your organisation is also well known for setting very high standards and i think this comes across very evidently in the high quality of adara.
I have just one small request - do not ever stop manufacturing it!!!!

Thanks once again for introducing us to adara.

As a make-up remover, it glides like a dream and makes even my toughest eye make-up disappear like magic. My skin drinks in the natural moisture and shows its contentment by smoothening my fine lines and dry spots.

As a body oil, it caresses my skin with warmth and a tantalizing, pheromonic scent … Definitely a must-have for sensuous nights with your loved one!

I have blisters that resemble an eczema-like condition on my bum after taking prawns, especially those in tim sum (e.g. har kow, siew mai), and before my period. I started applying adara coconut virgin oil directly on the blisters for 2 to 3 days, and the coconut virgin oil works! As such, I have been religiously applying the oil on my bum at least 3 times a week to prevent re-occurrences and also on the scaring areas - the condition and tone on these particular areas have improved.

Coconut Virgin Oil is second to none so far......from another happy customer.

My experience with adara coconut virgin oil (as skincare and hair care oil) & True Coconut organic coconut virgin oil (as cooking oil)

Having read that coconut oil is one of the best oils, I have tried out a number of coconut oils – from cooking oils found in Little India to other extra virgins from health food stores. I found that adara & True Coconut suit me best.

In Skincare
I have very sensitive skin that’s prone to develop rashes & blemishes. Since I started using adara as my moisturizer & make up base, my condition has improved significantly. My skin no longer gets irritated by things like sun block lotions.

On my advice, my daughter diligently used adara as a stretch mark cream during her pregnancy. There’s not a single stretch mark on her tummy. My baby granddaughter has her own jar of adara too!

In Hair Care
I found that adara is a good leave-in hair conditioner too. Just rub a little bit into freshly washed & towel dried hair. There’s no oily after feel or strong coconut oil smell and the hair feels light & soft.

It also clears up my brother’s and my friend’s dandruff. Stops the itch too according to them.

In First Aid
It must be coconut oil’s anti-bacterial & anti-inflammatory properties that make the oil such an amazing first aid for the home. My personal experience in its use is very wide – from cuts & abrasions, insect bites, cold sores, sore throat to yes, even mild urinary tract infection!

Surprisingly, it’s very effective for burns too! Once, when my hand got scalded, contrary to common advice against the use of oil-based ointment (since they promote continued burning), I experimented with coconut oil. After rinsing the burn under running tap, I immediately dabbed adara on my hand. Strangely enough the pain eased almost immediately. With repeated applications, no blister appeared and the burn healed up sooner than usual.

In Cooking
I’ve completely replaced all my previous cooking oils with True Coconut. It’s light & fragrant & not overpowering like some other brands’. I can even microwave ‘keropok’ by just lightly coating the keropok with True Coconut.

I now carry a small vial of adara with me all the time. How I wish True Coconut also comes in capsule form for the benefit of frequent travelers like me.

I use adara coconut virgin oil for the following conditions:
1. Itchy feet due to sensitive skin
2. Bruises
3. Cuts & blisters

& True Coconut organic coconut virgin oil for:
1. Mouth ulcers

I must say that it works very well and in most cases, better than the drugs that I had used before. This is particularly true in the case of my itchy feet.
