As a company that cares about occupational health and safety / Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3), PT Pulau Sambu (Kuala Enok) held several activities. This memorial will be held for 1 month from January until February 2024. Several events such as Occupational Safety and Health Environment / Lingkungan, Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (LK3) Quiz per Department, KL3 Inspection, Recycle Competition per Department, and Open House with the theme “Let’s Care of LK3 in the Living Environment”. This event was also done for Public High School 1 Tanah Merah. There are two contests which are Poster Competitions and Info Board Decorating Competitions. The peak event is held on February, 27^th 2024. On that day, a parade was held and continued with healthy exercise with the local community. Then, there was a tree planting around the PT Pulau Sambu (Kuala Enok) location. Then, the event ended with the door prize draw.

Sambu Group is showing its concern for the community by building a 2000-meter embankment in Desa Air Tawar, Kecamatan Kateman, Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir (Inhil). Built on August, 15^th, 2023, this embankment aims to resist seawater intrusion that could ruin the farmer’s coconut plantations. This embankment also could be used as a road to support transportation.

“This embankment construction is a form of concern for Sambu Group to contribute to society, especially for the coconut ecosystem in Indragiri Hilir. Hopefully, this embankment could be very useful and can solve environmental problems,” said the Head of Air Tawar Village, Khalilillah, on Monday (26/02/2024).

Sambu Group gives appreciation to coconut farmers from all over Indragiri Hilir through industry visits and coconut cultivation tourism education on February 27^th-28^th, 2024 in PT Riau Sakti United Plantations located at Pulau Burung. It is still part of the 56^th Sambu Group birthday, so this activity also has the same theme, which is “Build Collaboration, Together We Reach the Best Achievement”.

Taken place at PT Pulau Sambu (Kuala Enok)'s clinic, around a hundred children join the mass circumcision. This annual event is held by Sambu Group and YBDA (Yayasan Bahtera DwipaAbadi) for people in Tanah Merah Subdistrict. This mass circumcision is held for 2 days from December, 27th until December 28th, 2023. Danramil Kecamatan Tanah Merah, Lettu Inf. Agusturohim also came and gave the opening speech. He said grateful that Sambu Group and YBDA conducted this activity. "Thank you to all parties who have contributed until this event is successful. We are hoping that this mass circumcision is acceptable and gives an advantage to society", said Tua H. Hutabarat Operational Manager at YBDA.

Within this theme "Together We Create A Healthy Young Generation", Sambu Group and Yayasan Bahtera DwipaAbadi (YBDA) held mass circumcision at the clinic of PT Riau Sakti United Plantations, Pulau Burung Subdustrict, Indagiri Hilir, Riau. This event is held on December, 20th-21st, 2023. In this event, 178 kids participated. This mass circumcision was a series of activities that were also held in the Kateman district on December, 18th-19th, 2023.

"Along with Sambu Group, we have been programming this event to be held annually. After in Pulau Butung, this mass circumcision also be held in Pendopo Kecamatan Pelangiran on December 23rd, 2023. We hope that this event will run smoothly so it can help the community at a time strengthen the ties of friendship", said Tua H. Hutabarat an Operational Manager at YBDA. Danramil 11/Pulau Burung, Kapten Arh Uwin Suharto also came to the event and was a speaker at the opening ceremony. He said "Thank you for Sambu Group and YBDA that helps us to create a healthier and pious young generation. Besides, this event is also helpful in reducing or preventing the risk of disease infection thus helping children to be healthier to reach their future".
